the aims and objects of the organisation are; (1)to promote the relief of all people within sheffield and the neighbourhood therof,who by reason of their age,mental health or learning disability are unable to communicate adequately their needs,wishes,or views and are therefore vulnerable and disadvantaged and to assist such people(herinafter referred to as partners) to overcome their disabilities by the provision of a service calculated, (a)to assist such partners to obtain their full rights and priviliges as a citizen; (b)to provide long term personal friendship and support; (c)to provide advice on a one to one basis to partners in sheffield,whether living in residential care or residing in their own homes independently or with relatives. (2)to explore other areas of need where people suffer disadvantage or discrimination and to promote their relief by providing appropriate forms ofadvocacy.
