income of the charity in one or more of the following ways(but with preference being given in every case to sons of farmers or persons otherwise employed in the agricultural industry) (1) in providing (a) maintenance allowances for children who need financial assistance to enable them to attend builth wells high school; and (b) allowances for pupils who need finincial assistance to meet the whole or part of the costs of extra curricular activities undertaken for educational purposes. (2) in promoting the education (including social and physical training) of persons under the age of 25 years who or whose parents are resident in the area of benefit who have at any time attended as a pupil at builth wells high school and who are in need of financial assistance.
