to provide an annual prize for history at ffestiniog county secondary school a scholarship for a pupil leaving the towyn county secondary school tenable at an institution of higher education whose parents reside in tallyllyn bursaries or maintenance allowances for pupils or former pupils at towyn county secondary school a leaving scholarship for boys or girls of the bala county secondary school scholarships or bursaries for boys and girls of the bala county secondary schools scholarship or bursaries for boys and girls of bala county secondary school scholarships or maintenance allowances at towyn county secondary school or for such other purposes of intermediate or technical education for the benefit of towyn and aberdovey as the governors determine scholarships tenabe at any university college of education or other institution of further education (including profession and technical) approved by the trustees, such awards to be made to persons in need of financial assistance who are either pupils of ysgol y moelwyn or are under the age of 25 years and resident in the community of ffestiniog who will derive the most educational benefit therefrom to assist pupils of ffestiniog county secondary school to receive training for professions other than those provided for at universities and teachers training colleges. to provide scholarships for boys leaving dolgelley county secondary school and proceeding to a place of higher education. to provide three prizes to be awarded annually to boys leaving the school. to assist promising boys while at dolgelley county secondary school. a travelling scholarship to enable a senior pupil or pupils of barmouth county secondary school to pay a visit to a foreign county for educational purposes, national and international festivals or national institutions during the periods of school vacation. scholarship to enable a pupil of barmoth county secondary school to proceed to an institution of further education with a preference to one who wishes to take up some form of art as a career. a prize to be awarded to the pupil in form v of bala county secondary school who shows the highest proficiency in cookery. annual prize to a girl from dinas mawddwy council school who gains the highest marks in the merioneth schools examination or such examination held to admit pupils to secondary schools and who enter a school in dolgelley. two annual book prizes, one to be given to a boy at bala county secondary school who has won a scholarship to one of the universities, the other to a boy selected for all round qualities and usefulness and contribution to school life. to provide an annual prize for a poor pupil at ffestiniog county secondary school. for the benefit of pupils who have attended for not less than two years one of the county schools at bala, dolgelly, ffestiniog, barmouth & towyn: a) exhibitions tenable at any training college for teachers, university or other institution of further (including professional and technical) education, approved by the council, to be awarded under rules to be made by the council (see clause 5.1.a for more detail); b) financial assistance, outfits, clothing, tools, instruments or books to enable beneficiaries on leaving school, university or any other educational establishment to prepare for or to assist their entry into a profession, trade or calling.
