the trustees shall apply the income of the charity in one or more of the following ways: 1) in paying such sums as they think fit to the managers of any voluntary aided school in the area of the ancient parish of butterworth towards meeting the cost of the obligations of those managers under the education acts 1944-1973. 2) in providing or in assisting in the provision at any school in the said area of such special benefits of a kind not normally provided by the local education authority.
