providing a medal at the stand grammar school for boys, for gymnastics an annual science prize at stand grammar school for boys. to provide two prizes each year at the stand grammar school for boys. an award to the student who is the most improves scholar over 14 years of age, in attendance at the stand grammar school. the provision of three leaving scholarships to be held at any university or universities within the british empire in such manner and on such conditions generally as te governors shall from time to time determine but so that the following conditions shall be fundamental and binding on the governers.i) the scholarships shall be three in number. ii) the scholarships shall be called 'longman scholarships'. iii) only boys shall be eligible for the scholarshps. iv) one scholarship only shall be awarded in each year and shall be tenable for three years. v) the sum of one thousand pounds shall be appropirated to providing by the income of each sum of onolarship. vi) the income of each sum of one thousand pounds not required for providing a scholarship shall be accumulated and added to the capital of the sum from which the same has arisen and this provision shall include the case of a scholarship being relinquished by reason of death, illness or misconduct of the holder or from any other cause. vii) the election to a scholarship shall never be supended on the grounds of no boy having a sufficient standard of scholarship. the provision of an annual sum to be allocated on the recommendation of the headmaster and the senior mathmatics master for the time being of the whitefield stand grammar school for boys to the pupil or pupils who have completed two years in the sixth form of the school studying mathematics and is or are either remaining at the school for a further year or proceeding to a university or other establishment of further education. to assist such pupils of whitefield stand grammar school as shall be determined by the headmaster and deputy headmaster for the time being of the school to attend oxford and cambridge to sit for the university scholarships examinations provided that if the foundation is for any reason not used for the purpose aforesaid it shall be used in the discretion of the headmaster and deputy headmaster aforesaid after consultation with oswald goring hodkinson or roger hodkinson for the good of the said school and its pupils. see constituents of group
