firstly: in providing maintenance grants or pecuniary assistance to or for the benefit of any person who may be considered suitable by the trustees to benefit from attendance at a university or institution of university education or training college, or to or for the benefit of persons considered suitable by the trustees and studying for the nursing or massage or hospital work professions (including hospital almoners) or to or for the benefit of students considered suitable by the trustess and attending part-time day or full-time day courses at institutions of further education including art and technical schools and colleges of music approved by the trustees. secondly: in providing maintenance grants or pecuniary assistance to or for the benefit of any person who may be considered suitable by the trustees to benefit from attendance at a secondary school approved by the trustees. thirdly: in providing pecuniary assistance for students considered suitable by the trustees and attending evening classes or courses for further education approved by the trustees subject to preference being given to students who have previously attended courses provided within the urban district of ramsbottom. IN PROVIDING MAINTENANCE GRANTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANY PERSON WHO SHALL HAVE BEEN AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP OR EXHIBITION TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY OR AT ANY INSTITUTION OF UNIVERSITY EDUCATION APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANY OTHER PERSON WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED SUITABLE BY THE TRUSTEES TO BENEFIT FROM ATTENDANCE AT A UNIVERSITY OR INSTITUTION OF UNIVERSITY EDUCATION. THE GRANTS SHALL BE FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS WITH POWER TO THE TRUSTEES TO EXTEND THE PERIOD (AS THEY MAY THINK FIT) AND SHALL NOT SAVE IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED ú15 IN EACH YEAR TO ANY ONE PERSON.
