"to endow a prize for special studies to endow a prize for oxbridge entrants. scholarships for students of the canon slade grammar school who attain places at either the university of oxford or the univesity of cambridge. any residue to be used for the promotion and encouragement of education at canon slade school or the improvement of the said school. to provide annually at canon slade school free places for one boy and one girl residing in the parish and district of bradshaw. any residue to be used for leavers scholarships from the grammar school to the university of oxford so as to enable the governing body to award annually the two existing scholarships at keble college, oxford (boy) and at st annes college, oxford (girl) which at present is only awarded every third year due to insufficient funds. to endow a prize for mathematics 1) to provide annually a prize for pianoforte. 2) any residue to be used for the rebuilding fund. a prize to be awarded to a pupil for good work in the community efforts run by the school. for the purchase of a prize for divinity for scholars of the bolton church institute to be awarded on the decision of the principal and the vicar of bolton for the purpose of providing an annual chemistry prize to provide an annual art prize to establish a charitable fund for the following purposes:a.the building of a new science wing.b.the building of a new library and chapel.c.in the event of a and b above being impracticable in the promotion of the objectives of the school charity. to provide an annual chemsitry award to provide an annual mathematics prize to provide an annual craft prize to provide an annual prize for the head girl to provide and finance the building of a sports hall for the benefit of the pupils of the school to provide funds to pay for the maintenance of the school to cover the deficit on the building programme,annual maintenance costs and insurance premium and also future development of the school to advance the education of the pupils of canon slade school assisting the governors for the time being of the school to discharge their obligations under the education acts 1944 to 1988 with respect to the maintenance of the school.
