payments of various sums to the trustees of the charities called sandes hospital; for relieving poor persons; in promoting the education of persons under the age of 25 years (for further details see clause 29 of the scheme of 30 april 1979). after making such payments the income to be used in one or more of the following ways: (1) in assisting the governors of the school (see clause 22) to defray the cost of meeting their obligations under the education acts 1944 to 1976; (2) in providing or assisting in providing such special benefits at the school not normally provided by the local education authority; (3) in promoting the education of children attending the school in such ways as the trustees think fit.
