(1) income shall be applied in providing for any school in or substantially serving the parish of such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority. (2) in promoting the education (including social and physical training) of persons under the age of 25 years who have parents resident in the parish in one or more of the following ways:- by awarding exhibitions tenable at any secondary school, university or other higher institutions. in providing financial assistance outfits, clothing, tools, instruments or books to the beneficiary on leaving school or higher institutions. by awarding bursaries or maintenance allowances to enable such person to travel to pursue their education. by providing financial assistance to enable such persons to study music or other arts.
