application of net income in making grants for the purpose of enabling the managers of the schools of the foundation to comply with their obligations under the education acts 1944 to 1953; to provide special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority for the schools of the foundation; provision of other educational benefits as follows: (a) exhibitions tenable at any secondary school, training college for teachers,university, or other institution of further (including professional and technical) education approved by the governors. (b) financial assistance outfits, clothing, tools, instruments or books to enable beneficiaries on leaving school, university or any other educational establishment, to prepare for, or to assist their entry into, a profession trade or calling; and (c) otherwise promoting the education (including social and physical training) of beneficiaries.
