to provide prizes in the form of gold, silver or bronze medals and books to students who obtain honours at the final examination of the law society. eligible students are those who are, or have been articled to solicitors who are members of the durham and north yorkshire law society and are serving or have completed their articles of clerkship with those solicitors or with their london agents.
