awarding yearly prizes to pupils of the school in recognition of their academic moral or physical achievements. awarding a yearly prize or prizes to girls attending the school in recognition of their academic achievement in the subject of biology. advancing the education of girls and young womern whoa re under 25 years of age, who have been pupils at the school or at the former christ's hospital who are in need of financial assistance. advancing the education of boys and young men who are under 25 years of age, who have been pupils at the school, or at the former lincoln school, who are in need of financial assitance. to provide an annual award or awards to assist a pupil or pupils leaving the school to undertake further education in any of the following subjects, namely medicine, higher nursing practice, dentistry, science of music. for the benefit of such pupil or pupils of the said school as the headmaster for the time being shall determine for an annual travel scholarship. to augment the miss j a a oyler art bursary and as well as assisting pupils making art a career the grant would be available for deserving students of the history of art at a university or polytechnic (those who have already left school would also be considered if they later took up these courses and had the need for visits abroad). whenever the fund cannot be fully utilised it should be used to stimulate interest in art at the school itself by defraying the cost of lectures, travelling exhibitions, films, visits to galleries and places of architectural interest. consideration should be given to an annual subscription to the friesnd of the royal academy (where miss oyler had water colours exhibited) this would enable free preview tickets to exhibitions to be offered as prizes (including rail travel) to promising and interested students. to apply the income for an art bursay each year to a student making art her career. 1. making payments to the maintenance of the school. 2. in or towards providing for the school such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority. 3. promoting the education of children attending the school who are in need of financial assistance. 4. promoting the education of persons under the age of 25 years who have attended the school and who are in need of financial assistance.
