to assist the further education (and maintenance during such education) of boys and girls from the royal masonic schools and other children of deceased and necessitous free-masons. in the administration of the fund preference shall be given to assisting:- (a) students at the university of sheffield. (b) persons who have been students at the university of sheffield and further vocational training. (c) students at other universities or colleges of technology or technical colleges or similar institutions. (d) persons who are not included in the foregoing categories, but are pursuing courses of further study, such as nursing, physiotherapy or other courses of a similar nature. whole-time or part-time students, such as clerks articled to an approved profession, or other apprentices whose emoluments are such that additional assitance is desirable.
