for the benefit of one or more boys annually who are studing science, preference being given to biology at queen elizabeth grammar school prize for the most deserving work in science of the wakefield girls high school. prize for a boy studying geography on the recommendation of the headmaster scholarship for a pupil at the said school who shall in the opinion of the headmaster for the time being have shown the greatest progress and likehood of benefiting by university training to provide an annual prize to be awarded at the discretion of the head of the geography department to the sixth former with best o' level result in geology at wakefield grammar @ exhibition or exhibitions for a student or students of the said high school entering a university approved by the scholarship trustees. annual prize fo musical composition. @ annual prize for the junior and senior school to boys of impeccable character who have achieved some scholatic success in the face of some handicap, hardship, accident or illness. provision of an annual grant to help an old girl or member of the 6th form to undertake a special journey abroad, perhaps in connection with language study or with an enterprise such as voluntary service overseas. provision of an annual prize at the wakefield girls' high school, to be awarded at the discretion of the head mistress to a girl for good work in classics. provision of a lower 6th prize, for science. provision of an annual prize or scholarship, to be awarded for merit in music. provision of an annual prize to be awarded for merit in art or drawing 1. the provision and conduct in or near the city of wakefield of a day school for boys and a day school for girls (hereinafter together referred to as the schools). 2. to provide bursaries to be called storie bursaries, being total or partial exemptions from the payment of tuition and other fees tenable at either school for children who need financial assistance to enable them to attend the school. 3. to award scholarships at either school to children selected on grounds of merit. 4. to provide:(a) maintenance allowances for children who need financial assistance to enable them to attend either school., and (b) allowances for pupils who need financial assistance to meet the whole or part of the cost of extra curricular activities undertaken for educational purposes. 5. to make awards to persons under the age of twenty five who having for not less than two years at any time attended either school, have left or are about to leave it and who are in need of financial assistance. 6. to award to pupils at either school prizes or other suitable rewards or marks of distinction.
