for the benefit of the manchester grammar school library. annual purchase of books for the school library. to provide assistance to boys studying modern languages in the vith form. for the purpose of founding a scholarship in school to oxford and cambridge universities as the governors for the time being shall direct. an award to the scholar or scholars of the school who have attained the highest standardof efficiency in science. to establish a fund out of which boys get financial assistance in case of need to meet the expenses of travelling as members of the school sports team. a scholarship or prizes to be provided in such manner as the governors of the school shall from time to time determine. for the benefit of the assistant masters of the school who are in need. the provision of sporting equipment and facilities for pupils at the school for the maintenance and repair of the turret clock and other clocks connected with the said turret clock fixed in the said school in the classrooms or in any other position to provide funds for the use of the school rugby club clear income in awarding grants to pupils attending manchester grammar school to enable them in furtherance of their education to travel in this country or abroad clear income in awarding prizes of other suitable rewards or marks of distinction to pupils attending manchester grammar school clear income in awarding scholarships or bursaries at manchester grammar school to pupils selected on the grounds of merit to found a scholarship for boys of the said school. to invest and apply the incombe in the satisfaction of the scholarships thereby established (three in number) and other the purposes therein expressed or to be expressed by the trustees for the time being. to provide a cup each year to
