Objects:
(a) to promote for the public benefit the artsamong the community especially those activities which seek to make the arts relevant to the community including the arts of drama, mime, dramatic improvisation, literature, the original writing and presentation of poetry and prose, dance, song and music generally, painting, sculpture crafts, photography, video and film production and other visual arts. (b) in the interests of social welfare to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the persons for whom such facilities are primarily intended being persons who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances provided that nevertheless such facilities shall be available to the members for the public at large.
