(i) to assist the parochial church council of st. mary's parish church, handsworth, birmingham in the maintenance and preservation of the fabric of the main church building of st. mary's parish church, handsworth, birmingham and forming a reserve fund to be available to meet future unexpected expenses for maintenance of the fabric of the said main church building (ii) working for the public benefit and particularly for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of handsworth, birmingham by stimulating interest in the preservation and care of the fabric of st. mary's church, handsworth, birmingham and interest in it's history and character and by promoting for their benefits and for future generations its permanent preservation.
