the objects of the trust are to relieve the disabilities and/or sickness of and to preserve and protect the good health of children served by or referred to hospitals in the north staffordshire health district (as defined in the national health service (determination of districts) order 1981)) and in particular for those purposes but without in any way limiting their generaility to pay for or contribute towards the acquisition maintenance and operating costs of a child assessment unit.
