Objects:
trust land to be used for the following purposes for the general benefit of the public that is to say: (a) the maintenance of the mansion house buildings gardens and grounds comprised in the trust land for the enjoyment of the public; (b) the promotion of public knowledge and appreciation of the art and science of landscape gardening; (c) the advancement of education by the growth and propagation of trees and plants with a view to the furtherance of the study and science of botany and the conservation of nature and the increase of knowlege in respect thereof; and (d) the improvement of the methods and practice of horticulture and for the purposes aforesaid the trustees shall ensure that gardens and grounds comprised in the trust land are open to the public between the months of april and september (inclusive) in each year and not less than four days in each week which shall include satuardays and sundays.
