(1) the relief of poverty, sickness and distress amongst persons of the villages of leonarisso/vasili and suburbs whether resident in the uk or elsewhere. 2) the advancement of education and training (including social and physical training) of such persons and in particular education in greek language and cypriot traditional culture. 3) to provide for facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation (including the provision of the community centre) in the interests of social welfare for such persons who are young, old, infirm, disabled, poor or in such social and economic circumstances they have need of such facilities in order to improve the conditions of life of such persons.
