the trustees shall hold the capital and income of the trust fund upon trust to pay or apply the whole thereof to assist in any way any full or associate member of the rsa or any spouse of any full member of the rsa or (in the case the death of a person who was a full member of the rsa at the date of his death) any person that was a spouse of that full member at the date of his death who by reason of his social and ecomomic circumstances is in need and in particular may provide help towards the provision of or payment for convalescent care anywhere in the world (including the payment for or provision of accommodation) at such times and in such shares and proportions as the trustees (being not less than three individuals in number or a trust corporation or any other corporate body) may from time to time determine but so that no single period of convalescent care in relation to any individual shall be provided or paid for a period exceeding twelve (12) weeks and so that (subject only at last aforesaid) the trust fund shall be applicable both as to capital and income for the charitable purposes mentioned in this clause whether or not by means of the exercise of any of the particular powers conferred upon the trustees.
