a) to promote the welfare of people suffering from hiv infection and any apparently related similar or consequent disease or condition, by any charitable means. b) to alleviate physical, mental or financial deprivation caused by the said disease or conditions. c) to sponsor, encourage and assist research into the causes, origins, transmission and treatment of the said diseases or conditions and to publish and disseminate the useful products of such reasearch. d) to advance the education of the public, the medical and nursing professions, national and local public authorities, sufferers and their partners, dependants and relatives in the matters pertaining to the foregoing objects.
